Day 1 - Friday- Arrival and French cooking course
- Afternoon: Arrival
- Check into your room at the hotel any time after 2pm and take your time to explore the hotel, pool and local area
- In the afternoon, you'll have a welcome meeting with the Chef at the nearby restaurant kitchen at the hotel where Chef Laurent cooks. You will then start the first class of your French cooking course which will be followed by a delicious meal that you've learned to cook that afternoon accompanied by wine
Day 2 - Saturday - French cooking course and regional wine tasting
- Enjoy a leisurely French breakfast at the hotel before the short walk to the kitchen for your second French cooking class
- Today you'll spend the morning in the kitchen learning to prepare, cook and present your own 3 course menu which you'll enjoy for lunch
- After your delicious lunch, take a break to sit by the pool or wander around the historic town and port area before starting your regional wine tasting session with a local wine expert
- After a great session of wine tasting, the evening is free for you to experience the local restaurants or just to relax back at the hotel
Day 3 - Sunday - Market visit, cookery lesson and free time
- After breakfast, head out to a nearby food market for a further introduction to La Rochelle's local produce and wine (subject to weather conditions)
- After your market visit, head back to the kitchen for your final class of your French cooking course where you'll learn to cook a delicious lunch
- After lunch, it's time to relax after all that amazing food and the afternoon and evening are free
Day 4 - Monday - Departure day
- After a leisurely continental breakfast guests are asked to check-out of your rooms by midday ready for departure taking home with you new restaurant standard cooking skills from your French cooking course, wine tasting skills and an insight into French culinary life that will stay with you long after the holiday is over
